6.2 Objectives and Activities<strong>The</strong> purpose of the <strong>Easthall</strong> <strong>Residents</strong> <strong>Assoc</strong>iation is to establish, secure anddevelop the services within the Glenburn Centre that benefits the residents of the<strong>Easthall</strong> area. This is done by partnerships with the local authorities, voluntaryorganisations and the residents in a common effort to advance education, relievepoverty and to provide facilities and services in the interest of the social welfare forrecreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditionsof life for the residents of <strong>Easthall</strong>.Objective 1: To provide a community facility by……It has always been <strong>Easthall</strong> <strong>Residents</strong> <strong>Assoc</strong>iations policy to encourage members ofthe local community to become actively involved in the Glenburn Centre. At presentseven local people are on the management committee and there are currently fourvolunteers working at the Centre.
