ClubsA very important aspect of extra-curricular activities atPASCAL English School Lefkosia is the SchoolClubs. This year more than 30 Clubs are organizedand have already met for 3 times producing a lot ofwork.The purpose of the extra-curricular activities is to givestudents a chance to take part in both creative andeducational activities of their preference. Clubs arerun either by school teachers or external instructorsand cover a large range of interests and activities.It would need a lot of time and space to cover the activitiesof all the clubs but I would just like to mentiona few of these: the great project that our Art Club hasstarted in order to decorate the wall outside the artroom, the wonderful creations by the Arts and CraftsClub, the creative work done in the Drama Club, ouralways active Photographic Club and our newly establishedEnvironmental Club which deals with thisvery important issue.Other newly established and very active clubs for thisyear are the exciting Sailing Club, the Horse RidingClub, the Go-Karting Club, the Life Guarding Cluband the First Aid Club.I am sure that clubs will continue getting better andbetter, giving us the opportunity to express ourselves, have fun and learn exciting new things.Nicholas Lazarides – 4BNew School Uniform coming up...177, Kopegchagis Street2306 LakatamiaLefkosia8Tel: 22509000Fax: 22509090Email: info@pascal.ac.cyURL: www.pascal.ac.cy
