technology 18 The high speed latex centrifuges featured above remove water and non-rubber constituents from field latex and concentrate the liquid to 60 percent dry rubber content. DPL has in place a stringent system to segregate the field latex collected from the farmers under the “Firstlight” programme. Such batches are separately centrifuged and used in the manufacture of products sold either with the “Firstlight” logo or as “Fair Trade Rubber Gloves”.
