Lights, Camera, Action!<br />
Hollywood Comes to Lea Bridge<br />
Clancy Docwra (CD) recently stepped up to the role<br />
when the Lea Bridge site was turned into a film set<br />
for the filming of an Environmental Agency (EA)<br />
training DVD in conjunction with Alan Young of Thames<br />
Water.. The EA are providing a film and data pack to various<br />
companies on waste haulage and disposal which is intended<br />
to be a model for good and bad practice within this area of<br />
the industry.<br />
CD proactively participated on the production providing<br />
not only the usage of various sites around London and<br />
plant, but also actors! With the talented skills of lorry<br />
drivers, Nick Keen, who played the ‘good’ lorry driver, Kevin<br />
Hewitt, who played the ‘bad’ lorry driver, together with the<br />
helping hands of Andy Bareham and David Eales, who had<br />
supporting roles within the DVD. The filming lasted over<br />
two days and the DVD is to be released soon.<br />

Wilberforce Success<br />
Congratulations are in order for Sam Wilberforce,<br />
Senior Quantity Surveyor on our Southern Water<br />
Contract, after graduating from The University of<br />
Reading with an MSc in Project Management. Sam said “I<br />
am very excited about finally completing the course and<br />
looking forward to pursuing a career in Construction Project<br />
Management within the business.” Sam would also like to<br />
thank Clancy Docwra and all his work colleagues who<br />
assisted him with his final dissertation.<br />
