Application<br />
Viledon ® ULPA <strong>fi</strong> lters of <strong>fi</strong> lter class U15 are used in intake <strong>and</strong> recirculated air<br />
<strong>fi</strong> <strong>ltration</strong> for cleanrooms <strong>and</strong> in laminar fl ow boxes with ultra-stringent requirements<br />
for clean air quality <strong>and</strong> sterility, e. g.<br />
• In hospitals / medical institutes, pharmacies, sterile rooms, laboratories,<br />
research centers, etc.<br />
• In highly sensitive industrial processes (pharmaceuticals, biotechnology,<br />
chemicals, optics, food <strong>and</strong> beverage processing, micro-electronics, etc.)<br />
• In ceiling outlets <strong>and</strong> modules for fl exible cleanroom systems<br />
• Each <strong>fi</strong> lter element is tested using state-of-the-art scanning equipment for<br />
arrestance ef<strong>fi</strong> ciency <strong>and</strong> leakproo<strong>fi</strong> ng in accordance with EN 1822, <strong>and</strong><br />
delivered together with the corresponding test certi<strong>fi</strong> cate.<br />
• The frame consists of extruded, anodized aluminum. The sturdy construction<br />
is moisture-resistant <strong>and</strong> provides a high degree of security against the growth<br />
of bacteria <strong>and</strong> fungi (thus permissible according to VDI 6022).<br />
• Simple h<strong>and</strong>ling <strong>and</strong> installation thanks to high torsion-resistance<br />
• The <strong>fi</strong> lter elements feature protection grids on both sides made of powdercoated<br />
exp<strong>and</strong>ed metal.<br />
• Silgel seal for mounting systems with a sword pro<strong>fi</strong> le.<br />
Special features<br />
• The <strong>fi</strong> lter media used are high-arrestance micro-glass-<strong>fi</strong> ber papers.<br />
• The MiniPleat technology employed ensures fl ow-friendly geometry <strong>and</strong><br />
equidistance of the pleats, with homogeneous media velocity coupled with<br />
a very low pressure drop. This means particularly cost-ef<strong>fi</strong> cient <strong>and</strong> dependable<br />
operation plus a quasi-laminar outfl ow.<br />
