Where do you see <strong>Mount</strong> <strong>de</strong> <strong>Sales</strong><br />

Aca<strong>de</strong>my 25 years <strong>from</strong> now?<br />

<strong>Mount</strong> <strong>de</strong> <strong>Sales</strong> will remain faithful<br />

to <strong>the</strong> Catholic Church and<br />

teachings of Saint Francis <strong>de</strong> <strong>Sales</strong>.<br />

<strong>Mount</strong> <strong>de</strong> <strong>Sales</strong> Aca<strong>de</strong>my will<br />

continue to act as a beacon guiding<br />

o<strong>the</strong>rs. The school instills an inner<br />

compass to <strong>the</strong> Lord.<br />

What is <strong>the</strong> single most important<br />

change that you see as necessary<br />

for <strong>the</strong> continued growth and<br />

success of <strong>Mount</strong> <strong>de</strong> <strong>Sales</strong><br />

Aca<strong>de</strong>my?<br />

A Performing Arts Building is<br />

<strong>de</strong>finitely <strong>the</strong> most important<br />

change! With Music, Art, and Dance<br />

Classes, our space constraints are<br />

tough and more space is nee<strong>de</strong>d.<br />

O<strong>the</strong>r areas for change and growth<br />

inclu<strong>de</strong> advanced technology and<br />

maintaining our beautiful, historic<br />

building. In terms of <strong>the</strong> school's<br />

growth, it is also important to find<br />

sources of income outsi<strong>de</strong> of tuition<br />

and help families afford a <strong>Mount</strong> <strong>de</strong><br />

<strong>Sales</strong> Aca<strong>de</strong>my education.<br />

What do you see as potential<br />

areas for growth at <strong>Mount</strong> <strong>de</strong> <strong>Sales</strong><br />

Aca<strong>de</strong>my?<br />

I would like to see more Fine Arts<br />

offerings and additional electives<br />

offered in <strong>the</strong> curriculum such as<br />

<strong>the</strong> "survival skills" of cooking and<br />

time management. I would also like<br />

to see a program for stu<strong>de</strong>nts with<br />

learning differences.*<br />

We will continue to advance with<br />

<strong>the</strong> times and be a top competitor.<br />

I envision campus improvements,<br />

including a Performing Arts<br />

Building, more cafeteria space, and<br />

enhanced classroom technology.<br />

I would also like to see continued<br />

aca<strong>de</strong>mic and professional growth<br />

within <strong>the</strong> stu<strong>de</strong>nt body and faculty.<br />

What is <strong>the</strong> single most important<br />

change that you see as necessary<br />

for <strong>the</strong> continued growth and<br />

success of <strong>Mount</strong> <strong>de</strong> <strong>Sales</strong><br />

Aca<strong>de</strong>my?<br />

As emphasized in our Capital<br />

Campaign: Anchored in Excellence<br />

Charting our Future, we must<br />

address <strong>the</strong> need for a Fine Arts<br />

space. As part of <strong>the</strong> big picture<br />

plan for <strong>Mount</strong> <strong>de</strong> <strong>Sales</strong> Aca<strong>de</strong>my,<br />

<strong>the</strong> Fine Art building is Phase III of<br />

<strong>the</strong> campaign.<br />

Also, <strong>the</strong> continuous professional<br />

<strong>de</strong>velopment for faculty and staff,<br />

advancement in technology, and<br />

physical maintenance of our historic<br />

school.<br />
