of Phase I influence the future of
Mount de Sales Academy?
It shows progress, which gets
people excited and makes people
realize that the future of Mount de
Sales is bright.
What does the success of Phase I
tell you about the next 160 years at
Mount de Sales Academy?
Because the Mount de Sales
community showed such incredible
passion for the success of Phase I, it
endorses the mission of the school
and helps ensure that MDSA will be
here for the next 160 years.
Why was Phase I an important
launching point for our Campaign?
Phase I was crucial because of the
convent. The Sisters are an integral
part of the formation of the students
and important in carrying out the
mission of the school. Without the
convent, we would not be able
to accommodate the Sisters in a
hospitable environment. Also,
Phase I identified three basic needs
of the school, and the fact that we
were able to complete Phase I in
such a short period of time gave
confidence to the community that
we could accomplish anything.
How does Phase I impact the lives
and experiences of MDSA students?
In my opinion, we identified some
of the minor issues that the school
needed to address that would have
some of the greatest impact on the
girls and give them the ability to
thrive at the school. The completion
of Phase I will continue to impact
the lives of the students here for
many, many years to come.

How does the successful completion
of Phase I influence the future of
Mount de Sales Academy?
The completion of Phase I proves
we can achieve bigger dreams. It
was a big achievement and shows
that anything can be done here at
MDSA. It also puts Phase III, the
Fine Arts Building, that much closer,
which is very important to me as a
member of the orchestra.
What does the success of Phase I
tell you about the next 160 years at
Mount de Sales Academy?
God will always be with us in
everything we do. It speaks to
Divine Providence, which will also
always be present at Mount de
Sales Academy.
Why was Phase I an important
launching point for our Campaign?
The Sisters are the backbone of our
school, so Phase I allows the Sisters
to prosper and continue to teach
and form the students of Mount de
Sales.
How does Phase I impact the lives
and experiences of MDSA students?
The environment is different! The
classroom temperatures are so
much better. Therefore, it is much
easier to focus on class. I am
happy with no more changing from
blazer to coats just to keep warm.
It makes me really glad to see the
changes because it shows the future
is bright and school will continue
to do great when my class has
graduated.
