ARROWS IN MEMORIAM<br />

Gerard Belliveau ’65<br />

Mr. Belliveau passed away on March 15,<br />

2011. While at St. Sebastian’s he played<br />

basketball and was a member of the<br />

dramatics Society. Aer St. Sebastian’s he<br />

was graduated with honors from St.<br />

Francis College in Maine. He served in<br />

the u.S. Army in Vietnam and was a<br />

special agent with the united States Secret<br />

Service. Later, he opened Security<br />

Resources, Ltd., an investigative and<br />

security company. Belliveau is survived by<br />

his wife, Arlene, and their children,<br />

Gerard, John, Andrew, and Janet.<br />

William Harwood ’47<br />

Mr. Harwood passed away on March 26,<br />

2011. While at St. Sebastian’s he played<br />

football (senior year co-captain) and<br />

basketball. He also served on the Senior<br />

Prom and Ring Committees. Following St.<br />

Sebastian’s he earned an Economics degree<br />

from Boston College, before serving as a<br />

Captain in the united States Marine Corps<br />

during the korean War. Harwood spent<br />

the majority of his career working for the<br />

FBI, first as a special agent, then retiring as<br />

a supervisory agent. In retirement he<br />

worked with Sprint and, later, was a copartner<br />

in a private investigative firm.<br />

Harwood is survived by his children,<br />

Susan and William. His wife, Jean,<br />

predeceased him.<br />

L. Richard LeClair ’55<br />

Mr. LeClair passed away on January 29,<br />

2011. during his years at St. Sebastian’s he<br />

played varsity baseball, JV football and<br />

baseball, and intramural basketball. He<br />

was also the class secretary and member of<br />

eArrow staff. LeClair earned degrees<br />

from the College of the Holy Cross and<br />

New England Law School. He ran a law<br />

firm for over forty years. LeClair is<br />

survived by his wife, donna, and their<br />

children, Maura, Julie, Richard, Patrick,<br />

and kate.<br />

Stephen Foley ’97<br />

Mr. Foley passed away on March 17, 2011.<br />

At St. Sebastian’s he played golf (senior<br />

year team captain) and was a member of<br />

the ski team. He was also a member of the<br />

Latin and Arrow Clubs. He is survived by<br />

his parents, Stephen and Janice, and his<br />

siblings, Mark and Michelle.<br />

Rev. Albert Hughes ’49<br />

Fr. Hughes passed away on January 20,<br />

2011. While at St. Sebastian’s he served as<br />

Class Secretary, played the piano and<br />

organ for Fr. keating and the Choristers,<br />

and performed in the Minstrel Show.<br />

Aer St. Sebastian’s Hughes entered the<br />

Seminary. He spent his entire career as a<br />

diocesan Priest, serving in Parishes<br />

throughout the Boston Archdiocese.<br />
