ARROWS IN MEMORIAM
Gerard Belliveau ’65
Mr. Belliveau passed away on March 15,
2011. While at St. Sebastian’s he played
basketball and was a member of the
dramatics Society. Aer St. Sebastian’s he
was graduated with honors from St.
Francis College in Maine. He served in
the u.S. Army in Vietnam and was a
special agent with the united States Secret
Service. Later, he opened Security
Resources, Ltd., an investigative and
security company. Belliveau is survived by
his wife, Arlene, and their children,
Gerard, John, Andrew, and Janet.
William Harwood ’47
Mr. Harwood passed away on March 26,
2011. While at St. Sebastian’s he played
football (senior year co-captain) and
basketball. He also served on the Senior
Prom and Ring Committees. Following St.
Sebastian’s he earned an Economics degree
from Boston College, before serving as a
Captain in the united States Marine Corps
during the korean War. Harwood spent
the majority of his career working for the
FBI, first as a special agent, then retiring as
a supervisory agent. In retirement he
worked with Sprint and, later, was a copartner
in a private investigative firm.
Harwood is survived by his children,
Susan and William. His wife, Jean,
predeceased him.
L. Richard LeClair ’55
Mr. LeClair passed away on January 29,
2011. during his years at St. Sebastian’s he
played varsity baseball, JV football and
baseball, and intramural basketball. He
was also the class secretary and member of
eArrow staff. LeClair earned degrees
from the College of the Holy Cross and
New England Law School. He ran a law
firm for over forty years. LeClair is
survived by his wife, donna, and their
children, Maura, Julie, Richard, Patrick,
and kate.
Stephen Foley ’97
Mr. Foley passed away on March 17, 2011.
At St. Sebastian’s he played golf (senior
year team captain) and was a member of
the ski team. He was also a member of the
Latin and Arrow Clubs. He is survived by
his parents, Stephen and Janice, and his
siblings, Mark and Michelle.
Rev. Albert Hughes ’49
Fr. Hughes passed away on January 20,
2011. While at St. Sebastian’s he served as
Class Secretary, played the piano and
organ for Fr. keating and the Choristers,
and performed in the Minstrel Show.
Aer St. Sebastian’s Hughes entered the
Seminary. He spent his entire career as a
diocesan Priest, serving in Parishes
throughout the Boston Archdiocese.
