Stephen and his wife, Kaitlin, have two children, three-year-old daughter Isabella and 18-monthold<br />
son Noah…Is the younger brother of former Devils’ right wing and current Montreal<br />
Canadiens captain, Brian Gionta; they faced off against each other for the first time, December<br />
2, 2010…Has participated in USA Hockey’s Welcome Back Week retention program for youth<br />
players to continue playing hockey…Grew up in Greece, NY where his father owns a hardware<br />
store; his first job growing up was working at a hockey camp…Boondock Saints is his favorite<br />
movie, O.A.R. is his favorite band and he names grilled chicken with grilled corn as his favorite<br />
meal…Was the subject of a profile piece for The Huffington Post during the 2012 Stanley Cup<br />
Playoffs...Playing in his first NHL game remains his favorite hockey memory…Dedicated his time to<br />
