Assalamu Alaykum, Dear Readers.
Welcome to our Ramadhan Issue of Al-Islah. On
behalf of the Al-Islah Team we would like to wish all
our readers Ramadhan Mubarak. We request that you
remember and pray for the whole Muslim Ummah.
Appreciating the Blessings of Allah.
This month of Ramadhan is a very valuable month. It is
a great blessing of Allah that he has bestowed this
blessed month onto us. Besides this Allah has
blessed us with numerous other bounties. Remember,
at all times value and be grateful of these bounties &
favours of Allah . As Muslims we should always
count our blessings.
We must remind ourselves and our family members
never to disregard the favours and bounties of Allah .
By rejecting even a single blessing it could be taken
away from us, especially items of food and
sustenance. Allah's blessings are so much in number,
to actually count them will make the computers even
exhausted.
Related in Ibn Majah, ‗Aishah (R.A) narrates that once
the Prophet came to me and saw a piece of bread
lying around, seeing it he said ,―Oh Aishah! Value the
blessings of Allah because when this bread is not
appreciated in any home, it becomes upset and does
not return.‖
Hazrat Abu Hurairah says, ―Value bread; Do not be
unthankful of it because any nation who wastes food is
inflicted with poverty, hunger and destitution.‖
May Allah Ta’ala give us the correct understanding
of valuing all the bounties that he has blessed us
with especially in this very blessed month.
