If you want to grow strong in your faith, dig into<br />
the Scriptures. The truth of Scripture doesn’t<br />
just give us information, it nourishes us and<br />
transforms our lives. When we receive truth,<br />
we begin to live according to that truth. It<br />
impacts our attitudes and actions.<br />
The Scriptures tell the story of<br />
God’s interaction with humanity.<br />
It tells the many ways God tried<br />
to get us to connect with His love.<br />
So when we read Scripture, we<br />
can get to know <strong>Jesus</strong> better. We<br />
can learn how to live as He would<br />
if He were in our place.<br />
If you’ve ever read something,<br />
but then forgot what you read, you know how<br />
important it is to do more than simply skim<br />
through Scripture. Memorizing and meditating<br />
on scripture strengthens us by teaching<br />
us who <strong>Jesus</strong> is and gives us guidance on<br />
how to live as <strong>Jesus</strong> people.<br />
