1. Dean shared that people of other faiths refer to Christians as<br />
“people of the book.” What does that mean? Does it accurately<br />
describe you? Are you a person of the book?<br />
4. Each of you in the group has different gifts and abilities. How<br />
could you serve this group—perhaps with hospitality, organizing<br />
an event, worship, teaching, or inviting new people? Have<br />
each person share what their gift or passion is, and how they<br />
could use it to strengthen and build up the group.<br />
2. How does the habit of reading and memorizing Scripture impact<br />
your life? What is one step that you can take to “internalize”<br />
God’s Word?<br />
3. Have you ever had someone try to manipulate or control you by<br />
using Scripture? Have you ever tried to do this to someone?<br />
5. Spend some time praying about those you know who might<br />
respond to a simple invitation: to come to a weekend experience,<br />
to visit your Life Group, or even just to have coffee and<br />
talk. Ask the Holy Spirit to bring people to mind that you can<br />
pray for.
