I’ve just launched my

Well hello there! I’m back with my monthly column… Ok so firstly a
reminder about me. I’m Zena (Zee for short) I’m 42, a mother and a
grandmother.
So, here we are! Freezing
February! These last few
weeks have flown by.
As well as fighting the cold,
I’ve been put on to a low fat
diet by my health consultant
and this has forced me to
change my eating habits, before
I have my gallbladder removed.
At first I was very sad. I love
a cake and cream and cheese
and of course chocolate...
(sorry I drifted off then, I
was at the cake counter in
Waitrose)!
My day job is in menu development
at a large local brewery and I’m lucky
enough to sit with two amazing
nutritionists. They have taken me
under their healthy wings and have
opened my eyes to alternative
options and places locally to indulge.
One little such gem is NOURISH.
Tucked away at the Back of Neals
Yard Remedies in Abbey gate
St Bury St Edmunds the café a
bijou and friendly. Everything is
cooked to order and is utterly
delish! Catering for Vegans and
Vegetarians, food intolerances and
allergies it really is a lovely place.
Most importantly they have a
great selection of CAKE! So if like
me you’re trying to be healthy but need A
LOT of persuasion then give them a try.
I’ve also been over to an amazing
company called Ralph and Co. Tucked
away in a barn on the outskirts of
Cambridge, Ralph and Co is the Vision
Of Karl Rutterford. His Aladdin’s cave
of vintage props and hand painted
fairground signs are really different and
retro. I could have got lost for hours in
