The French team look to be off to one of<br />
their best Sevens World Series starts yet,<br />
defeating Scotland to win the Bowl final in<br />
Dubai and narrowly beating Kenya to win<br />
the Bronze final in Cape Town.<br />
Currently ranked sixth on the World Series<br />
standings, the French are well ahead of<br />
their eleventh place finish last series.<br />
Having never ranked in the top six in a<br />
World Series before, the French will be<br />
determined to make an impact at this<br />
year’s <strong>Wellington</strong> Sevens tournament.<br />

The Eagles have already made their mark in<br />
the 2015/2016 tournament, providing one<br />
of the biggest upsets of the Sevens World<br />
Series to date. Shockingly to many, they<br />
defeated New Zealand twice for the first<br />
time ever in Dubai.<br />
After finishing the 2014/2015 series on a<br />
high with their best season yet and first<br />
tournament win at the London leg of the<br />
circuit, it seems like the Eagles are flying<br />
from strength to strength. Only narrowly<br />
missing out on a Plate Final win in Cape<br />
Town, the USA team are looking in fine<br />
form to continue to make an impact at<br />
the <strong>Wellington</strong> Sevens and are making<br />
the world wonder if a new Sevens “super<br />
power” is in our midst.<br />
