Indiana coasted to its largest margin of victory in franchise history,<br />

blistering the Minnesota Lynx by 38 points, 89-51 at Target Center.<br />

Tamika Catchings had 27 points and 10 rebounds.<br />

JULY 10, 2010<br />

Scoring 47 out of a possible 60 points, Katie Douglas captured the<br />

3-point shooting contest at the <strong>WNBA</strong> “Stars at the Sun” all-star<br />

showcase.<br />

JULY 14, 2010<br />

On Kids Day, Indiana wel<strong>com</strong>ed its largest crowd of the season<br />

(10,076) and one of three crowds eclipsing the 10,000 mark as the<br />

Fever showed an attendance increase for the fourth straight year.<br />

JULY 18, 2010<br />

Tamika Catchings scored nine of her 22 points in overtime to lift<br />

the Fever to an 84-81 victory at New York. Katie Douglas had 21<br />

points and Ebony Hoffman added 15 to help the Fever beat the<br />

Liberty for the seventh straight time and move into first place in the<br />

Eastern Conference. Indiana overcame a career-high 40 points by<br />

Cappie Pondexter. Catchings' tiebreaking 3-pointer gave the Fever<br />

the lead for good, 78-75 with 4 minutes left in the extra period.<br />

AUGUST 6, 2010<br />

Tamika Catchings scored 30 points during a 95-93 win over<br />

Atlanta, pulling the Fever percentage points ahead of the Dream<br />

for first place in the East. Catchings hit game-winning free throws<br />

with 3.5 seconds remaining. Earlier in the game, she became the<br />

first player in <strong>WNBA</strong> history to score 4,500 points, grab 2,000<br />

rebounds and hand out 1,000 assists. In the same game, Douglas<br />

hit the 500th 3-point field goal of her career to be<strong>com</strong>e the<br />

<strong>WNBA</strong>’s first player with 500 3FGs and 500 assists.<br />

AUGUST 8, 2010<br />

Tamika Catchings scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to<br />

lead the Fever past Phoenix 104-82, putting Indiana atop the<br />

Eastern Conference with two weeks left in the regular season.<br />

AUGUST 11, 2010<br />

Indiana won 82-76 at Los Angeles to sweep two games with the<br />

Sparks for just the second time in franchise history.<br />

AUGUST 13, 2010<br />

Indiana scored a franchise-record 110 points while beating<br />

Phoenix 110-90 and clinching a playoff spot for the sixth<br />

consecutive season.<br />

AUGUST 29, 2010<br />

After dropping Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals in<br />

New York, the Fever responded with a 75-67 win at Bankers Life<br />

Fieldhouse.<br />

SEPTEMBER 1, 2010<br />

Katie Douglas scored 24 points and Tamika Catchings added 21,<br />

but it was not enough for the Fever to over<strong>com</strong>e Cappie Pondexter<br />

and the Liberty. Pondexter scored 30 points and New York<br />

outscored Indiana 8-2 down the stretch to claim a 77-74 Game 3<br />

victory and a 2-1 out<strong>com</strong>e in the best-of-three playoff series.<br />

OCTOBER 3, 2010<br />

Tamika Catchings helped the United States to a gold medal victory<br />

at the FIBA World Championships conducted in the Czech<br />

Republic. Tully Bevilaqua earned a bronze medal with Australia.<br />

JUNE 13, 2011<br />

Katie Douglas was named the <strong>WNBA</strong>’s Eastern Conference Player<br />

of the Week after opening the season with 21.0 points per game<br />

through the Fever’s first three games. Douglas’ week included a<br />

27-point effort in a win over New York that included a team-record<br />

six 3-pointers.<br />

JUNE 14, 2011<br />

Katie Douglas became the first player in <strong>WNBA</strong> history to record<br />

500 career 3-pointers and 500 career steals. In a win over Tulsa,<br />

Douglas recorded 22 points with six 3-pointers, and added a steal<br />

to reach the milestone.<br />

JULY 9, 2011<br />

Tamika Catchings passed Ticha Penicheiro to be<strong>com</strong>e the<br />

<strong>WNBA</strong>’s career steals leader with six thefts in a win over the<br />

Washington Mystics. Catchings tied a league record with five<br />

steals in the fourth quarter.<br />

JULY 23, 2011<br />

As part of 2011 All-Star festivities in San Antonio, and in<br />

celebration of the <strong>WNBA</strong>’s 15th season, Tamika Catchings was<br />

named as one of the league’s Top 15 Players of All-Time.<br />

AUGUST 13, 2011<br />

Matching her own career scoring high, Tamika Catchings scored<br />

32 points in a win over the New York Liberty. She made a Feverrecord<br />

17 free throws and became the sixth player in <strong>WNBA</strong><br />

history to reach the 5,000-point plateau.<br />

SEPTEMBER 7, 2011<br />

Katie Douglas scored 21 points to lead four double-figure scorers<br />

in an 87-69 win over the Washington Mystics, as Indiana clinched<br />

the top seed in the <strong>WNBA</strong> Eastern Conference playoffs for the<br />

second time in franchise history.<br />

SEPTEMBER 15, 2011<br />

Erin Phillips’ 14-foot jumper with 1.5 seconds remaining lifted<br />

Indiana to a 74-72 playoff victory over New York at Bankers Life<br />

Fieldhouse. Katie Douglas finished with a game-high 25 points as<br />

the Fever took a 1-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.<br />

SEPTEMBER 19, 2011<br />

Katie Douglas scored 21 points and Tamika Catchings added 17<br />

to help Indiana past New York, 72-62, to advance past the Liberty,<br />

2-1, into the Eastern Conference Finals.<br />

SEPTEMBER 22, 2011<br />

A four-time Defensive Player of the Year and a top-five vote-getter<br />

in MVP balloting in 8 of 9 previous seasons, Tamika Catchings<br />

was named the <strong>WNBA</strong>’s Most Valuable Player for the first time in<br />

her career. Catchings accepted the award from <strong>WNBA</strong> President<br />

Laurel Richie in a news conference at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.<br />

SEPTEMBER 22, 2011<br />

Tangela Smith knocked down a Fever playoff record five 3pointers<br />

while scoring a career high 25 points as Indiana beat<br />

Atlanta 82-74 in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The<br />

win drew the Fever within one victory of a second trip to the <strong>WNBA</strong><br />

Finals.<br />

Indiana’s seven-year run of reaching the postseason is the third-longest in league history and the longest active streak in the East.<br />
