Seasoned by four years in the <strong>WNBA</strong> and world <strong>com</strong>petition in<br />
the Olympics and World Championships, Phillips has emerged as<br />
one of the league’s top backcourt contributors, capable of playing<br />
either guard position…acquired by a three-team trade in April<br />
2011, Phillips joined the Fever to bolster an already deep<br />
backcourt…following an injury to Briann January ten games into<br />
the season, Phillips assumed Indiana’s starting point guard role<br />
the rest of the year… after three seasons with the Connecticut<br />
Sun, Phillips signed a free agent deal with Seattle on February 9,<br />
prior to the trade with Indiana…Indiana fans can revel in the fact<br />
that she has always been a Reggie Miller fan, <strong>com</strong>plete with a<br />
framed jersey on her wall in Australia!<br />
PRO – <strong>WNBA</strong><br />
2011: Phillips played in 31 games, starting 22…her 8.6-point<br />
scoring average was the best of her <strong>WNBA</strong> career…she scored a<br />
career-high 21 points twice at Atlanta, 7/19 and 8/30…she tied a<br />
career-high eight rebounds at Chicago, 8/7…she played a careerhigh<br />
37 minutes vs. Washington, 7/9…she ranked eighth in the<br />
<strong>WNBA</strong> with a mark of 42.6 percent (26-of-61) from beyond the 3point<br />
line.<br />
2010: Phillips trained in Australia with the Australian National<br />
Team.<br />
2009: She played in 32 of 34 games with Connecticut, starting<br />
18, averaging 8.1 points and tying for the team lead with 43<br />
steals…including 10 of the first 14 games of the season, she<br />
scored in double figures 11 times and had a season-best with 19<br />
points at Detroit, 7/5…she corralled 103 rebounds (3.2 rpg), also<br />
her best in a single season and she was second on the team with<br />
66 assists…Phillips had a season-high six rebounds four times<br />
and collected at least four rebounds 14 times…her six boards vs.<br />
Atlanta, 6/14, included a career-best four offensive rebounds…she<br />
claimed multiple steals in 12 games…she had a career-best five<br />
steals vs. Los Angeles, 7/14, and had four thefts against Atlanta,<br />
6/14…including the season finale vs. Indiana, 9/13, she had a<br />
career-high seven assists twice…her steals-to-turnover ratio of 1:1<br />
was tied for eighth in the <strong>WNBA</strong>.<br />
2008: After training with the Australian National Team, and<br />
leading it to a silver medal in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, she<br />
returned to the Connecticut Sun for the final eight games of the<br />
<strong>WNBA</strong> regular season, averaging 5.3 ppg on 13-of-28 shooting<br />
overall (.464), 6-of-12 3-point shooting and 9-of-11 (.818) at the<br />
free throw stripe…she had 18 points, a career-high eight rebounds<br />
and no turnovers in the season finale vs. Washington, 9/13.<br />
2007: She sat out the entire 2007 <strong>WNBA</strong> season while<br />
rehabilitating from a torn ACL in her right knee sustained during a<br />
collision with Tully Bevilaqua, in a game between her Adelaide<br />

fourth on the team with 29 steals and tied for second with 80<br />
assists…including a season-high 19 points vs. Washington, she<br />
scored in double figures four times in the final 11 games…her 19<br />
points against the Mystics featured four 3-pt FG…though she<br />
averaged just over two assists a game, she had four or more<br />
assists eight times, with a high of six vs. Chicago, 7/20.<br />
PLAYOFFS<br />
2011: Phillips played and started in all six Fever postseason<br />
games…she averaged 6.5 points, 3.0 assists and 2.3 rebounds<br />
per game…she hit a game-winning basket with less than a second<br />
remaining to defeat New York in Game 1 of the East Semifinals,<br />
9/15.<br />
2008: She played in all three of the Sun's first round games vs.<br />
New York, totaling nine points, two rebounds, five assists and just<br />
one turnover in 36 total minutes…her six points in Game 1 came<br />
on a pair of 3-pointers.<br />
2006: She appeared in all five of the Sun's games, starting<br />
once and averaging 6.6 points and 1.4 assists…she started in<br />
place of the injured Katie Douglas in Game 1 of the Eastern<br />
Conference Finals in Detroit…in that game, she established<br />
postseason highs in points (13), field goals made (4), 3-pt FG (3),<br />
assists (3) and steals (2)…she tied for second on the team with<br />
seven 3-pt FG during the postseason and she shot 53.8 percent<br />

2011-12: Phillips returned to Wisla in Poland where she helped<br />
the club to another PLKK Championship, averaging 10.2 points<br />
and 3.2 assists in 21 Polish contests. Wisla advanced to the<br />
EuroLeague final eight, with Phillips averaging 13.3 points and 3.3<br />
assists in 16 EuroLeague contests.<br />
2010-11: A starter in 29 games for Wisla Can-Pack in Krakow,<br />
Poland, she helped lead the team to the best regular season<br />
record (22-2) and a PLKK Championship by averaging 12.9 points,<br />
4.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.4 steals per game…she was<br />
fourth in the PLKK in assists and ranked second in the league in<br />
steals.<br />
2009-10: The third-leading scorer for Lotos Gdynia in Poland,<br />
she averaged 10.9 points and shot better than 44 percent (.441)<br />
from 3-pt range in 30 games…she was also third on the team in<br />
rebounds (5.3 rpg), assists (3.4 apg) and steals (1.6 spg).<br />
