SEVEN CONSECUTIVE <strong>WNBA</strong> PLAYOFF APPEARANCES<br />

2008-09: Before leaving the team in December, she averaged<br />

11.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.6 assists and a league-best 2.9 spg in<br />

10 games for Ramat Hasharon Electra in Israel.<br />

2007-08: Playing for Adelaide in Australia's WNBL, she<br />

averaged 14.6 points, 3.3 assists, 5.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals per<br />

game in 20 appearances.<br />

2006-07: She was named to the WNBL All-Star Five for the<br />

third consecutive year in 2006-07 and also received the 2006-07<br />

Good Hands Award…she was named WNBL Player of the Month<br />

for November 2006.<br />

2005-06: She was named the team's MVP after leading<br />

Adelaide in points (15.7 ppg), steals (1.3 spg) and assists…her 4.9<br />

assists per game not only led the team, but were tops in the<br />

WNBL…she was fifth in the league in scoring, eighth in<br />

rebounding and ninth in steals.<br />

2004-05: Playing with Adelaide, she scored a career-high 40<br />

points which was the fourth-highest total in Adelaide Lightning<br />

franchise history.<br />

INTERNATIONAL<br />

<strong>2012</strong>: Phillips will represent her country in the <strong>2012</strong> Olympics<br />

in London.<br />

2010: In Australia’s run to a fifth place finish in the FIBA World<br />

Championships in the Czech Republic, Phillips averaged 4.1<br />

points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game…she tied for third<br />

on the team with eight steals.<br />

2008: A member of the silver-medal winning Australian team at<br />

the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, she accumulated 11 points, nine<br />

rebounds and two assists in six appearances in which she<br />

averaged 5.3 minutes a game.<br />

2006: She won a gold medal with the Australian National Team<br />

at the 2006 FIBA World Championships in Sao Paulo,<br />

Brazil…making appearances in seven of the team's eight games,<br />

she totaled 16 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists and three steals in<br />

59 minutes.<br />

PERSONAL<br />

Her full name is Erin Victoria Phillips and she has two sisters,<br />

Rachel and Amy…she has two nieces, Ashlee and Chloe, and a<br />

nephew, Ky…her biggest thrill outside basketball was be<strong>com</strong>ing<br />

an aunty…she lists her sports hero as her father, Greg, a former<br />

professional Australian Rules Football star who was listed among<br />

the 22 greatest players in the 130-year history of the Port Adelaide<br />

club during a ceremony in June of 2000…she lists “Wedding<br />

Crashers” and “Kill Bill” as her favorite movies…her favorite food is<br />

mom’s cooking and sushi…she would like to be<strong>com</strong>e a boundary<br />

<strong>com</strong>mentator for Australian Rules Football someday…she loves<br />

animals, music, playing the guitar, surfing and being at the beach.<br />

Phillips’ 14-foot turnaround jumper over Essence Carson, with 1.5 seconds left on the clock, broke a 72-72 tie to lift Indiana to a<br />

Game 1 victory over New York in the 2011 Eastern Conference Semifinals. With her parents in attendance from Australia, it was the<br />

first game-winning shot of her career.<br />

Phillips posted 12 games with double-figure scoring during the 2011 season as Indiana’s starting point guard.<br />
