Synopsis:
After leaving the city to visit his family in the countryside,
Nafu gets caught in a storm and camps under an eave,
where he meets the outspoken, yet beautiful girl, Alian.
Space is limited and a disagreement arises between
the two, but Nafu ends up falling in love with Alian and
becomes determined to marry her. Nafu tries to impress
Alian with his family’s wealth, yet she is not persuaded.
So Nafu becomes more infatuated with the unattainable
Alian. However Alian wants to spend her life with the
singer, Qianshu, who is the best singer in the Dong
village. Quitting is not an option for Nafu as he is so
deeply in love with Alian that his heart will not allow him
to quit. But, suddenly their life…

Chouchou Ou 欧 丑 丑
Chouchou was born in the southeast area of Guizhou Province in 1983. After she graduated from the
Beijing Film Academy, ChouChou completed her first film “A Na Yi“ as director and scriptwriter. At
that time, she was only 22, which made her the youngest independent filmmaker and representative of
the 80’s generation in China. Now Chouchou has finished the film “Close to the Sun” and “The Grand
Song”, both of which have received awards and highest reputation.With Chouchou’s singular sight and
style, her films have gained a devoted audience fan base and popularity both in China and overseas.
