Synopsis:
“A Real Mess” describes a series of ironic stories all resulting
from the theft of a precious antique.
Grandiose newspaper journalist, Huier Liu, reports that
WuYue Xue has acquired the precious antique
‘Sky Wineglass’ through nefarious means. Meanwhile,
DaZhuang Qian, newly arrived in the city, confusedly gets
pulled into the drama of selling goods from tomb raids.
Gang leader, Le coerces both DaZhuang and his uncle
LaiBaoYe to participate in another tomb raid in search for
the antique ‘Earth Wineglass’. In the process, Dazhuang
and Huier accidently hide in the same cabinet. Will the
lost treasure return to its rightful owner? Will all
characters find their love and happy ending?

Wang Meng, born in 1982, is a Chinese director and scriptwriter. He was recruited by director Guo Baocheng in
2007 and studied with him for five years, where he gained an insight into TV series. In 2011, he was invited to the
20th Anhui Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival for his product “Mr. Charming”. In 2015, he was
invited to the fifth Beijing International Film Festival for his new comedy “A Real Mess”.
