Synopsis:<br />
Father Greg, a diocesan priest, is reassigned to a parish up<br />
in the mountains because his relationship with a young<br />
woman named Carla, has produced a child. Father Greg<br />
works with parish priest, Father Alejo, an old friend who<br />
is addicted to drinking. During a healing Mass, Father<br />
Greg is introduced to the town’s powerful couple, Julian<br />
and Millett who strike a friendship with him. But when<br />
Father Greg discovers the lifeless body of Julian on the<br />
church premises, he embarks on a mission to help solve<br />
the crime, which leads him eventually to discover his own<br />
personal salvation.<br />

Mel Chionglo has been directing for film and television since 1980. His films include the 1992<br />
BBC-produced film “Lucia” which won Best Film at the London International Enviromental Film<br />
Festival, “Burlesk King” which competed at the Chicago Intl, Film Festival and opened at the<br />
Panorama Section at the 2000 Berlin Inl.Film Festival. He is a former president of Director’s Guild<br />
of the Philippines and currently the Festival Director of Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival.<br />
