Synopsis:<br />
The history of Gianni, who deserts his battalion during the<br />
Russian campaign in WWII and is hidden by a family in<br />
Piadena (North of Italy). There he falls in love with Teresa,<br />
but the armistice saw him returning to his small town in<br />
the South of Italy. Teresa reaches him there, but since he<br />
refuses her, she concocts a terrible malediction upon him<br />
which will cause grave effects.<br />
