EVENTS<br />
Sport Aberdeen in partnership with the Aberdeen Mental Health & Wellness Network are delivering a 12-week block of<br />
physical activity sessions to promote a healthy body for a healthy mind, and introduce participants to the wide range of<br />
activities on offer throughout Aberdeen City.<br />
Activities are open to participants of all ages and abilities and all equipment will be provided. Just wear some comfortable<br />
clothing and footwear and bring an open mind and we’ll provide the rest. Each session will last around an hour with an<br />
opportunity for a social tea or coffee and a chat afterwards.<br />
Day/Time: Wednesdays 1230 – 1400<br />
Dates: 4th May – 20th July 2016<br />
Venue: Beach Leisure Centre, Beach Promenade, Aberdeen, AB24 5NR<br />
Cost: FREE<br />
Activities: Different activities available each week delivered by friendly staff from the Wellness Team. Suitable for beginners<br />
and more experienced participants.<br />

Telecare Awareness Session<br />
Telecare is an adaptable range of technology used in the home to help people live independently, safely and with confidence.<br />
Come along and learn about the technology available and how it can support people with dementia, their families and<br />
carers. You will have the opportunity to get hands on with the technology and to ask any questions to specialist Telecare<br />
Occupational Therapists.<br />
Sessions will take place at The Alzheimer Scotland Resource Centre, 13-19 King Street, Aberdeen, AB24 5AA on the following<br />
