Main Contractor Glasgiven Contracts, Co. Down has been awarded the contract<br />
for the construction project at the Grovetree House, Belfast. Work is starting on<br />
site during May, 2016.<br />
The contract is for the provision of a 30 unit dementia scheme comprising 27 x 2-<br />
person, 1-bed apartments & 3 x 2-person, 2-bed apartments. The work includes<br />
the requirement for site development and engineering works and the demolition<br />
of the existing buildings on site. It is expected that all units built under this<br />
contract will achieve ‘Secured By Design’, Lifetime Homes accreditation and is to<br />
be built in accordance with the Dementia Design Principle.<br />
Estimated value excluding VAT: 4,000,000 GBP<br />
