The timetable below specifies <strong>the</strong> activities <strong>for</strong> which <strong>the</strong> Working Group will prepare<br />

concrete deliverables. Activity 6 on typology and Activity 7 on standardisation will be<br />

an ongoing in<strong>for</strong>mation exchange to support <strong>the</strong> <strong>implementation</strong> work. These two<br />

All Member States, o<strong>the</strong>r countries in <strong>the</strong> CIS, stakeholders and NGOs can nominate<br />

experts to this group through <strong>the</strong>ir representative in <strong>the</strong> Strategic Coordination<br />

Group. To start with, <strong>the</strong> <strong>for</strong>mer Working Group 2.5 on Intercalibration will <strong>for</strong>m <strong>the</strong><br />

membership of Working Group 2.A (ECOSTAT) unless new or o<strong>the</strong>r members are<br />

nominated by Strategic Co-ordination Group.<br />

• Links with o<strong>the</strong>r activities<br />

The activities of Working Group 2.A (specifically intercalibration and development of<br />

classification Guidance) are linked to <strong>the</strong> pilot river basin testing exercise of Working<br />

Group 2.B. The working group leaders are responsible <strong>for</strong> ensuring that any key<br />

issues identified by <strong>the</strong> working group are co-ordinated within <strong>the</strong> activities of<br />

Working Group 2.B.<br />
