STUDENT: When people look<br />
at my artwork, I want<br />
them to think, “Wow!” I<br />
want viewers to know this<br />
is my yellow blue art.<br />
TEACHER: Aiden’s artwork<br />
was created during our<br />
unit on printmaking.<br />
Students explored<br />
concepts in color, shape<br />
and texture. They<br />
learned about the process<br />
of monoprinting on<br />
plexiglass. Using printing<br />
ink layered with found<br />
textures from around the<br />
art studio, they created<br />
both an original and a<br />
ghost print.<br />
Aiden is a special education student<br />
with incredible artistic talent. His<br />
choice of colors and arrangement<br />
of textures demonstrates his ability<br />
to create a composition that sparks<br />
conversation and interest.<br />
