I know you have thought about it.
Strolling into headquarters, ready to take
on your next international assignment?
Before you pack up the snazzy tuxedo
or slinky black dress, you first stop off
in the research and development division
of a National Intelligence Unit for the
latest gadgets. Q was always there to be
sure James had the very best protection
possible. Believe it or not, you too can
have someone watching out for you at
the time you need it most. All it takes
is the very simple action of executing
a comprehensive Power of Attorney –
something it takes less than five minutes
to complete.
A Power of Attorney can be as broad
or narrow as you choose, but if you haven’t
done one at all, you are stuck without
anyone to help. Stuck until a court
determines who should be appointed
and what power he or she will have. (A
sobering though indeed!) While all this
“appointing” process is happening, you
are hanging out of that airplane with no
parachute or fancy glider turned boat
as you hit the water. Although we may
think this sort of thing won’t happen to
us, but unfortunately it does (well maybe
not falling out of a plane exactly but you
know what I mean).
Instead, a little bit of proactive paperwork,
and you too can assign your very
own Agent Q (or any other alphabet letter
you choose) to be watching your back if
you become ill or incapacitated, even if
it is just a temporary spell.
Law Firm of Hitzeman & Evenson, APC Observes
1st Anniversary
The Law Office of Hitzeman &
Evenson, A Professional Corporation,
celebrated its first year anniversary on
June 1st. Principals Don Hitzeman and
Paul Evenson, with their practice located
in the Vista Office Centre, at the corner of
Ridge Park Drive and Rancho California
Road in Temecula, are both grateful to
those loyal clients who followed them
into their new practice and for the opportunity
to meet so many new clients
during this past year. As Paul Evenson
put it, “It has been an amazing year full
of growth, maintaining relationships
with so many wonderful and supportive
clients and building new relationships
with the people of Temecula and the surrounding
communities.” Don Hitzeman
added, “We look forward to continuing
to serve these communities by delivering
competent and professional legal advice
and services to our clients, guided by the
principles of integrity and professionalism,
because competence and integrity
really do matter to us and to our clients.”
Their practice focuses on business law,
both transactional and litigation, as well
as trusts and estate planning.
In addition to practicing law, both
attorneys have devoted time, energy and
resources to serving the needs of the
community at large. Don Hitzeman is
serving on the Board of Directors of the
Economic Development Coalition of SW
California and is a member of the Murrieta
Temecula Group. Paul Evenson has recently
been elected to serve on the Board
of Directors of the Menifee Chamber of
Commerce, as well as the Board of the
Murrieta Rotary Club. For prospective
new clients, Hitzeman & Evenson offers
an initial one hour consultation at no
charge, “in order to see whether we are a
fit for the potential client, and they are a fit
for our practice,” according to Hitzeman.
“Trust and confidence in your attorney,
just as with any professional you hire, is
key to building a lasting and worthwhile
relationship.”
QUOTEABLE
“People who succeed have momentum. The more
they succeed, the more they want to succeed, and
the more they find a way to succeed. Similarly,
when someone is failing, the tendency is to get
on a downward spiral that can even become a
self-fulfilling prophecy.”
