Drawing and printmaking
I am inspired by the beauty of the ever-changing valley around me. The
shapes of the trees, their silhouettes and shadows fascinate me and feature
prominently in my work.
11.00 am to 5.00 pm daily
From A390 follow signs to Calstock, after the viaduct and train station,
Limekiln Gallery is 150 yards on the right. Continue on for parking; disabled
toilets also here. Trains run regularly from Plymouth to Calstock, a lovely
30-minute journey. Disabled access possible but please phone first.
The Old Chapel is a beautiful venue,
licensed for civil weddings and available to hire
for parties, business events, meetings, workshops,
exhibitions and more.
The huge picture window and balcony afford
stunning views over the River Tamar and
the valley beyond.
The auditorium seats up to 120 people in rows;
café style can accommodate 70 around tables.
On the lower ground floor, with adjoining kitchen,
is the Kelly Room. It can seat 45 at tables and has a
more intimate atmosphere than the main auditorium.
There are good rail links –
the scenic Tamar Valley Line runs through Calstock
as well as free parking nearby and, of course,
there is access by river, (tide times permitting!)
