Painting<br />
My oil paintings are carefully considered and composed. I favour a vibrant<br />
palette and a traditional but painterly style. Whilst continuing <strong>to</strong> challenge<br />
my responses I strive <strong>to</strong> produce evocative paintings that <strong>the</strong> viewer can<br />
genuinely connect with.<br />

I enjoy painting in a wide variety of media, in both traditional and more<br />
abstract, dreamlike styles. I am especially inspired by <strong>the</strong> coastal and<br />
moorland landscapes, harbours and gardens of <strong>the</strong> west country.<br />

Watercolour and oil paintings<br />
As a self-taught watercolourist and oil painter, I love <strong>to</strong> capture <strong>the</strong><br />
atmosphere of <strong>the</strong> scene on site (en plein air) or in <strong>the</strong> studio from sketches<br />
in a loose impressionist style.<br />
