Bayt Albaya’a
King Abdullah Park
If you are looking for a tranquil environment
for a family day out, then King Abdulla Park,
which is the biggest park in the Eastern
Region of Saudi Arabia, is your best option.
It has many green spaces and waterways and
it is home to the biggest interactive dancing
fountain in the world. The park also offers
entertainment and recreation areas, and a
folkloric village.
The traditional Arabic architectural style is
perfectly portrayed in this house, where you
can wander around in its yard to discover for
yourself this unique architectural heritage.
Bayt Albaya’a, also known as Sheikh Abdullatif
Almulla’s house, is located in the Kout district
in Al Hufoof city, and it’s approximately 705
squared meters in size. It was established in
1203 hijri by Sheikh Abdulrahman Bin Omar
Bin Mohamed Bin Omar Almulla, the judge
of AlAhsa’a at the time. One of the features
that distinguish this house among other
historical places in the region is the precision
and beauty of the details of its design. This
house witnessed the throne handover to
King Abdulaziz, may God bless his soul, in
1203 hijri, which makes it one of the most
prominent tourist attractions for its historical
significance. One of the treasures of this
house is King Abdulaziz’s chamber, where he
stayed the night AlAhsa’a earned its freedom
on the fifth of Jumady Alawal in 1331 hijri,
1913 A.D. The chamber is known as “Aldar”
which means that it consists of two rooms,
one inside the other.
