Shopping Malls<br />
One of the most popular malls is the Mall of<br />
Arabia, which is considered an architectural<br />
masterpiece. Other malls include: the<br />
Red Sea Mall, Sirafi Mega Mall, Aziz Mall,<br />
Aljamia Plaza, Sultan Mall, Haifaa Mall and<br />
Aljamia Mall. You can find various local and<br />
international fast food chains and recreation<br />
areas in all malls.<br />
Khuzam Palace<br />
It is located in the Yemeni Quarter and was given<br />
the name “Khuzam” due to the abundance of<br />
the “Khuzam”, or lavender plant, in its vicinity.<br />
King Abdulaziz ordered its construction after<br />
his residency in the Naseef house for a period<br />
of time. The construction of the palace began in<br />
1928 A.D., and was completed in 1932 A.D. It<br />
is the first building in Jeddah to be constructed<br />
of cement and iron, and is now one of the most<br />
important museums in <strong>Saudi</strong> Arabia.<br />

industries<br />
Jeddah is full of traditional crafts that are still<br />
being practiced today in many local markets.<br />
These include making wooden products,<br />
pottery, and palm frond products, in addition to<br />
construction industries such as plumbing, bead<br />
making, khazwan, milling, storytelling, fishing,<br />
spices and perfumes making, money exchange,<br />
Misaharati and others.<br />
Tahaliyah Street<br />
Also known as Prince Muhammed Bin Abdulaziz<br />
Street, Tahiliyah Street is one of the busiest<br />
main streets in Jeddah. It is a commercial hub<br />
of shopping centers, given the many brand name<br />
shops lining each side of the street, as well as<br />
the finest restaurants, multiple shopping malls<br />
and lavish offices. This beautiful street is in a<br />
strategic location that divides Jeddah into two<br />
sections.<br />
Beaches in Jeddah are blessed with dazzling<br />
coral reef structures, which the Red Sea is<br />
famous for. The coral reefs are located 100<br />
to 150 meters off shore, and can be found at<br />
various depths, reaching 50 meters below the<br />
surface in some areas.<br />
