One of the most popular malls is the Mall of
Arabia, which is considered an architectural
masterpiece. Other malls include: the
Red Sea Mall, Sirafi Mega Mall, Aziz Mall,
Aljamia Plaza, Sultan Mall, Haifaa Mall and
Aljamia Mall. You can find various local and
international fast food chains and recreation
areas in all malls.
Khuzam Palace
It is located in the Yemeni Quarter and was given
the name “Khuzam” due to the abundance of
the “Khuzam”, or lavender plant, in its vicinity.
King Abdulaziz ordered its construction after
his residency in the Naseef house for a period
of time. The construction of the palace began in
1928 A.D., and was completed in 1932 A.D. It
is the first building in Jeddah to be constructed
of cement and iron, and is now one of the most
important museums in Saudi Arabia.
Tahaliyah Street
Also known as Prince Muhammed Bin Abdulaziz
Street, Tahiliyah Street is one of the busiest
main streets in Jeddah. It is a commercial hub
of shopping centers, given the many brand name
shops lining each side of the street, as well as
the finest restaurants, multiple shopping malls
and lavish offices. This beautiful street is in a
strategic location that divides Jeddah into two
sections.
Beaches in Jeddah are blessed with dazzling
coral reef structures, which the Red Sea is
famous for. The coral reefs are located 100
