Established in 2010, <strong>the</strong> <strong>Puget</strong> <strong>Sound</strong> <strong>Institute</strong> is a network of leading scientists and policy<br />

makers based at <strong>the</strong> University of Washington and supported by <strong>the</strong> U.S. Environmental<br />

Protection Agency and <strong>the</strong> <strong>Puget</strong> <strong>Sound</strong> Partnership. PSI catalyzes rigorous, transparent<br />

analysis, syn<strong>the</strong>sis, discussion and dissemination of science in support of <strong>the</strong> restoration and<br />

protection of <strong>the</strong> <strong>Puget</strong> <strong>Sound</strong> ecosystem.<br />
