2. Select System Settings from the main menu. Then select Devices <strong>and</strong> I/O Ports, as<br />

shown in Figure 2-12.<br />

3. Select Planar SAS <strong>and</strong> press Enter to enter the edit mode. Then select Disable to disable<br />

the onboard SAS controller as shown in Figure 2-13 on page 34. This speeds up the boot<br />

process up as well as keep the system from booting to the onboard incase there are local<br />

drives in the system.<br />
