2. Select System Settings from the main menu. Then select Devices and I/O Ports, as
shown in Figure 2-12.

3. Select Planar SAS and press Enter to enter the edit mode. Then select Disable to disable
the onboard SAS controller as shown in Figure 2-13 on page 34. This speeds up the boot
process up as well as keep the system from booting to the onboard incase there are local
drives in the system.
