YOUNG NETBALL ORGANISER
The aim of this 6 hour course is to offer young people
aged 14-18 years the opportunity to take the first step
on the coaching, officiating or administration Netball
ladder.
It prepares them to organise safe, enjoyable and
purposeful Netball sessions for 7-11 year olds, under
the supervision of a teacher or coach.
6 HOURS COURSE
A 6 hour course, which can be delivered in bite size
segments to fit within the curriculum. The course
provides an introduction to coaching, officiating and
competition administration.
The course can be run by a teacher, level 2 coach or
England Netball tutor.
Between 12-24 students can attend the workshop.
COSTING
£130 for 15 student resources and a teacher pack.
£8 for all additional resources.

AGES 12+
INTO OFFICIATING AWARD
It is aimed at any budding umpire from 12 years of age
and above; in either a school or a club setting.
It’s the first step on the England Netball officiating
pathway and prepares the learner for the other levels
covering the basic rules of netball.
6 HOURS COURSE
The course element is in total 6 hours and this can
be delivered in a number of ways to suit the school
environment and demands e.g. 2 x 3 hour block.
Any teacher that has QTS and completed the YUA
or INTO orientation workshop can deliver the course.
The course involves both written and practical
assessment.
COSTING
INTO Officiating Award is a new resource and the
final costing has not come yet been finalised.
