AGES 14-18<br />

YOUNG NETBALL ORGANISER<br />

The aim of this 6 hour course is to offer young people<br />

aged 14-18 years the opportunity to take the first step<br />

on the coaching, officiating or administration Netball<br />

ladder.<br />

It prepares them to organise safe, enjoyable and<br />

purposeful Netball sessions for 7-11 year olds, under<br />

the supervision of a teacher or coach.<br />

6 HOURS COURSE<br />

A 6 hour course, which can be delivered in bite size<br />

segments to fit within the curriculum. The course<br />

provides an introduction to coaching, officiating and<br />

competition administration.<br />

The course can be run by a teacher, level 2 coach or<br />

England Netball tutor.<br />

Between 12-24 students can attend the workshop.<br />

COSTING<br />

£130 for 15 student resources and a teacher pack.<br />

£8 for all additional resources.<br />

AGES 12+<br />

INTO OFFICIATING AWARD<br />

It is aimed at any budding umpire from 12 years of age<br />

and above; in either a school or a club setting.<br />

It’s the first step on the England Netball officiating<br />

pathway and prepares the learner for the other levels<br />

covering the basic rules of netball.<br />

6 HOURS COURSE<br />

The course element is in total 6 hours and this can<br />

be delivered in a number of ways to suit the school<br />

environment and demands e.g. 2 x 3 hour block.<br />

Any teacher that has QTS and completed the YUA<br />

or INTO orientation workshop can deliver the course.<br />

The course involves both written and practical<br />

assessment.<br />

COSTING<br />

INTO Officiating Award is a new resource and the<br />

final costing has not come yet been finalised.<br />
