The course is broken down into 3 modules
and an assessment. The course is aimed at
the junior or assistant coach.
The course is broken down into 4 modules
and an assessment. The course is aimed at
the lead coach.
Module 1: health & safety, rules, warm
ups and cool downs, tournament games,
officiating;
Module 2: coaching styles, basic techniques,
basic tactics, demonstration, observation
and feedback;
Module 3: STEP, adapting tasks and games,
meeting needs of players.
6 HOUR COURSE
- The course starts with a 1 hour theory
section followed by the remainder
practical. There is also an individual
assessment on this course.
- Delivered by a UKDBA tutor.
FACILITY REQUIREMENT
The course is delivered in a sports hall
and classroom.
COSTING
£60 per candidate + £120 tutor fee*.
Delivered to a minimum of 10 and a
maximum of 18 candidates.
