LEVEL 2 AWARD
IN REFEREEING
RUGBY LEAGUE
The L2ARRL is designed for
anyone over 12 years of age who
is looking to start on the match
officials pathway.
The course is suitable for
parents, volunteers and those
with limited experience of
the game and refereeing. It is
recommended that if you are
going to referee you undertake
this course. This vocational
qualification is seen as the first
rung on the refereeing ladder.

AGES 14+
RUGBY LEAGUE
LEADERS AWARD
This fully interactive teaching/
learning resource delivers a selfcertificated
award to students
in Year 10 and 11 or in Further
Education.
The Award enables learners
to become event leaders with
a view to developing further
volunteer opportunities in
rugby league.
6 SESSIONS
Run over 6 sessions, by the end
of the final session learners
are able to plan, organise and
deliver a coaching festival in a
safe environment and review
the event.

UKCC LEVEL 1
The L1ACRL is designed for those
who are looking for an introduction
to working with groups of children,
junior rugby league teams, or for
parents of children in junior rugby
league teams who want to get
more involved.
The course is suitable for
those with limited experience
of the game and coaching. It
is recommended that if you
are going to coach children
you attend this course. This
vocational qualification is
seen as the first rung on the
coaching ladder.
16 HOUR COURSE
