UNDER SEVEN MAROONS<br />
Another awesome year for our boys, the mighty Shimmering<br />
Sharks <strong>and</strong> again from day one they were full of energy, <strong>and</strong><br />
couldn't wait to get on the paddock <strong>and</strong> do our club proud.<br />
Our first hit out was against Monavale <strong>and</strong> it was soon apparent<br />
after losing by one try they were ready for a structured defensive<br />
line <strong>and</strong> once this was put in place at the next weeks training they<br />
never looked back <strong>and</strong> prided themselves on having the best<br />
defence in the comp.<br />
And we finished the comp off playing an apparently undefeated<br />
Avalon team who thought they were playing our little champions<br />
the u7 blues, so as much as Avalon know is, they got beat by our<br />
mighty Blues team<br />
Cooper;( Liam,s wing man) has become a real danger with the<br />
football <strong>and</strong> his defence has improved to a point were it’s a no go<br />
zone for anyone running in his direction, well done Coop !<br />
Kane; (<strong>rag</strong>ing bull) has continued his strong running game <strong>and</strong><br />
when he wants to break thru the line he does Kane runs with<br />
aggression <strong>and</strong> will be force to be reckoned with in 2017<br />
Oscar; has developed an uncanny ability to always beat the first<br />
line of defence <strong>and</strong> has become a prolific try scorer this season,<br />
good work mate keep it up<br />
Fin; has developed in to one of the hardest running <strong>and</strong> bone<br />
crunching tacklers in the comp this year , finishing the season off<br />
with some absolute crackers against Avalon in our last game
