Black and White rag 2016

Last but not least I would like to thank all of our players. These guys
and girls are our troops on the ground going into battle every week.
You have all done yourselves, and your club proud. We have loved
watching you out there each week showing us what you can do
both as individuals and as teammates. I have noticed a big
Improvement in the footy this year, you are putting all of your hard
work from training into practice on game day.
Congratulations to you all on a great season, I hope you have all
taken away some fond memories and good times from this season,
and will be back bigger and better for the 2017 season. I look
forward to seeing you all down at Shark Park next year, Up the
Sharkies.
I will touch on a few things’ we have been working on for the future
of our great club. Some of you may be aware we have been working
on plans to get our clubhouse decking extended. This is a very long
process we began back in December last year. Takin g into account
the merging of the councils on the Northern Beaches I can
understand why the Development approval process is taking so
long. That being said I am pushing this project pretty hard and have
a great Architect on the job so it looks as though we are in the final
stages of approval. I ask you all to cross your fingers and pray for it
to come through so we can get cracking with the improvements and
hopefully be done for the 2017 season. I will keep you updated on
our Facebook page on any further progress.
The new concrete deck will extent the existing deck out six meters
from the canteen wall and run the length of the existing deck. The
new area will be covered by a roof to match the existing roof look
and include a permanent BBQ and bar serving area, located
