UNDER SEVEN WHITE
What a year!
Our team started off in 2014 as a team of only 4 years olds. Along
the way we have lost one or two here or there and gained a few.
Our team this year was again made up predominantly of the same
nucleus of the past 3 years and absorbed some of Beardy’s team
from last year. The equated to an undeniable force – the Narrabeen
Sharks, Under 7 Whites!!
We started the year unstoppable, making easy work of anything
that was put in front of us. Teams that are usually feared soon knew
that Narrabeen Under 7 Whites weren’t to be taken lightly. They
were to the feared!! But we were soon put in our place and shown
that playing footy with your mates is about trying hard and turning
up for each other. And that’s exactly the way the boys responded.
As not only their coach (or one of their coaches) as I couldn’t have
done it without the help & friendship of a deadest legend in Sam
O’Bryan, I couldn’t be more proud of the way I’ve seen these boys
grow from little kids to big boys.
Cooper – started the year unsure of his talents. Finished the year
with lightning fast runs & defence commitment
Eli – An all-round team player with the heart of a lion – in a word,
passionate
Oscy – For the smallest kid in the team, he puts his body in places
that even the biggest kids won’t. Makes it happen when it counts.
Mitchell – A natural of the game whose effort is evident from the
first week to the last. Only a bright future ahead
