ones to leave, packing up the fields and cleaning the club in
preparation to do it all over again the next week. The Committee
members are all volunteers and do what they do for the love of our
club, please show them some gratitude when you see them out and
about.
Now I’d like to thank our Generals on the front line, our coaches,
our managers and our training staff. You guys are the ones that are
constantly mentoring our kids and not only teaching them the skills
of the game, but the values and sportsmanship we expect them to
uphold as they grow into footballers up through the grades. I
watched you all in action from the sidelines this year and was
extremely impressed by the professionalism you displayed at home
and away games. This sets a great example for our kids who are
constantly learning and soaking up everything they can from you in
order to make it to the big League one day.
I also thank you for the personnel sacrifices you have made when
you committed to your roles this year, it’s a huge dedication to be
involved with a footy team and can be a big stress on your family
life. You selflessly give up your afternoons and weekends for the
team week in and week out so the kids can enjoy their footy. I thank
you all for your hard work and dedication on behalf of the
Narrabeen Sharks JRLFC.
I’d also like to thank our generous sponsors, without you our teams
can’t even take the field. You are such an important element of this
club, we are very thankful for all of your contributions and are
proud to display your logos at the club and on our great jerseys. I
urge all members of our club to spare a thought to our sponsors
and, give them back your business in appreciation for their donation
to our club. As we are a non for profit organisation we rely on our
sponsors to assist us with all aspects of running this club.
