Pre-Show
Reception
It was wonderful to have alumni on campus for the
inaugural O’Dowd Alumni Pre-Show Reception
held on Saturday, May 7. Fifty attendees enjoyed the
reception before attending the Drama Department’s
production of A Chorus Line.

Quite a few of the alumni had special ties to the
theater, including Justus Vierra ’00, who starred as
Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof, the very first production
in staged in the O’Dowd theater, and his sister,
Marissa Vierra ’02, who was a member of the chorus.
Others were excited to see their kids or grandkids
in the performance, while some simply wanted to
enjoy a night at the theater with fellow alums. Special
thanks to Drama Director Dennis Kohles ’69 for providing
complimentary tickets for the O’Dowd alums,
and well-deserved kudos to all the talented students
in the musical.
