onocí a Dilan cuando visitamos con algunos amigos por primera vez, el skatepark de Zipaquirá.
Empezamos a patina y a conversar, mientras lo hacíamos me di cuenta no solo de que es un excelente
rider, sino también de que es un gran tipo. Dilan es una importante figura en la escena del rollerblading en
Zipaquirá; no solo por sus habilidades, sino porque ha ayudado a promover el deporte y la cultura en su ciudad.
hen some friends and I met Dilan at the skate park in Zipaquira, Colombia; he hooked us up
with some good stuff, if you know what I mean. We started talking while skating, and I realize that,
besides a cool dude, he was, and still is, a great rider. He’s also a big local figure; he has organized
some few championships and competitions to promote rollerblading on his city. But let’s let him tell us
by himself about it

JUAN: Bueno parce, ¿como empezo con los
patines , con el roller?
JUAN: Ok dude, how did you started with the
rollerblading?
CHAKAL: Pues con los patines desde pequeño
anqué no sabia del rollerblading como tal, me
gustaba saltar y todo eso, pero ya fue en el colegio
como en 10 cuando vi a un roller deslizarse
una baranda y desde hay me metí en el patinaje
extremo. Y pues en la modalidad extrema ya son
6 años de practica, y unos cuantos viajes alrededor
del país en torneos
CHAKAL: Well, with inline skates, since a kid,
although I didn’t know about rollerblading, I
liked to jump and stuff, but it was at school,
like in 10th grade, when I saw a roller grinding,
since then I got into extreme skating.
And well, has been already six years practicing,
and some trips around the country in tournaments
JUAN: ¿A donde y cuando?...
JUAN: Where, and when?
CHAKAL: Pues en Chinchina Caldas dos
veces, una en el 2009 y otra en 2010. Yopal en
CHAKAL: In Chinchina Caldas twiced, 2009 and
2010. Yopal in 2010 and Bucaramanga in 2011.
