Happy Hour at Mac’s Steaks & Seafood

Happy Hour at Mac's Steaks and Seafood was held on August
17, 2006. Back in 2001, Mark Gluck mentioned to me that
we should try a place called Mac's in Colleyville for a happy
hour because he'd heard good things about it and, well, it was close
to Mark's house. So for our August 17 (of 2006) happy hour, I
decided to go ahead with it. You can't just jump into these decisions.

As it turned out, it was well
worth the five year wait. We had a
great crowd, including new faces
due to the new location. We also
had Michael Sorbera, president of
the Longhorn Region. Michael
drove up from San Antonio just for
our happy hour (well, not exactly)
and I was fortunate enough to get
some good images of his 1993
amazon green pearl effect 964.
The food, service, and prices
were all good at Mac's. We'll definitely
be returning. Speaking of
returning, for our October 19th
Happy Hour, it's back to Malibu Michael Sorbera
Speed Zone, just off of I-35E and Royal Lane. Hope to see you there.
