Happy Hour at I Fratelli’s

This was another new place for
us, which was recommended by
(and also set up by) Tinker
Edwards. At the last minute the restaurant
wanted a specific count from
Tinker, because they were expecting a
full house and wanted to set aside the
right amount of space. Of course, with
Happy Hours, we never really know
how many people are coming. Since
Tinker had no choice except to go on
record with something, she told the
restaurant to expect 45 people. And the
final count was – get this – 44! My recommendation
is that the next time you go to Las Vegas, take
Tinker with you.

Editor’s Note:
It was really good to see Steve
Watkins up and “running” after his
terrible plane accident this past
October. While the healing is still
happening, Steve is still (as always)
all smiles. Godspeed, Steve!

The restaurant turned out
to be well-suited for us, with
good food and service, and the
prices were right. I noticed that
a lot of our people were eating
some kind of stuffed artichoke
dish and they all raved about it,

but no one was kind enough to
offer me any samples (which is
another sign that it must have
really been good).
New or recently new faces
included Jan and Betty
Norman, Greg and Christi
Hutmacher, and Ken Berry.
For our February happy
hour we’re returning to everybody’s
favorite – “Go Fish” in
Addison. Hope to see you there!
