SS: What is the cost of an ER Autocross<br />
event?<br />
WL: The ER events have a member<br />
entrance fee of $35 per event.<br />
This is very reasonable for a day of<br />
Autocross with the chance to earn<br />
awards. ER typically has eight runs<br />
per event. Compare this to the four<br />
to five runs in SCCA events, and the<br />
value/fun ratio is through the roof.<br />
If you have never experienced an<br />
Autocross event, I would encourage<br />
you to sign up. It will be the best $35<br />
you can spend on anything. Autocross<br />
is absolutely exhilarating and<br />
it complements the skills learned in<br />
DE events.<br />
SS: You mentioned awards. Can you<br />
elaborate?<br />
WL: Yes, awards will be given to the<br />
class leader at each event. In addition,<br />
a year-end awards ceremony<br />
will be held.<br />

WL: Yes! If you have not competed<br />
in Autocross, it is truly a safe and<br />
competitive event that hones and<br />
develops driving skills. I have been<br />
to Autocross events for the past two<br />
years and have seen many models of<br />
Porsche compete. Any Porsche is<br />
well-equipped for Autocross. Come<br />
out and have the time of your life!<br />
