On a winter afternoon, the
exclusive beauty salon, Divine
Beauty Lounge arranged a unique
portrait exhibition. Makeup
maestro, Bapon Rahman
collaborated with young talented
photographer, Anwar Hossain
Enam, for the first time. The
photographer’s ingenious eyes
have captured not just the beauty

of makeover, but the soul of his
subjects as well.
Divine Beauty Lounge believes
that, “Every single face is a
canvas.” Bapon Rahman, the
man who has been painting on
live canvas for the last 25 years,
presented his wide range of
makeovers through this portrait
exhibition. He has used colours
to embrace beauty at its finest,
forgetting the limits. “We are
usually accustomed to seeing the
typical and traditional look on a
bride, but I have tried to create
something different,” said Bapon
Rahman.
Sangeeta Khan, the managing
partner of Divine Beauty
Lounge, said, “Bapon Rahman
is a multi-talented artist. He
isn’t only a make-up artist but
also has been creating different
looks with make-up. The young
photographer, Anwar Hossain
Enam’s photographs also speak
his talent. Divine Beauty Lounge
brought out their talents through
this exhibition.”
The two-day long portrait
exhibition was inaugurated by the
beauty expert, Kaniz Almas Khan
and the famous photographer,
Chanchal Mahmud, on December
17 at the gallery of Bay’s
Edgewater. At the inauguration
ceremony, Divine Beauty Lounge
also introduced internationally
renowned model, Priya Jannatul,
as the brand ambassador who will
be representing the beauty salon
all over the country. •
