Option Description
Value name Specifies the name of the value being modified. This is a read-only property. To
rename the value, use the Registry Information panel.
Value data The binary data that should be stored in the registry value.
Overwrite existing value If a registry value by the same name already exists on the device, it is overwritten only
if this check box is selected. If this check box is cleared, the existing value is not
changed.
Platform A list of platform types (Palm-size PC, Handheld PC, Pocket PC, Smartphone, etc.) on
which the registry value can be created.

Processor The type of processor on which the registry value can be created.

The Edit DWORD Value dialog box opens when you are using the Windows Mobile Wizard or the Smart
Device Setup Wizard and you add a new DWORD registry value or change the properties of an existing
DWORD registry value on the Registry Information panel.
The Edit DWORD Registry dialog box enables you to enter the data to be stored in a DWORD registry
value, and to indicate which types of Windows Mobile devices or smart devices on which the value
should be created.
