Error Mapping Properties Dialog Box
The Edit String Value dialog box enables you to enter the data to be stored in a string registry value, and
to indicate which types of Windows Mobile devices or smart devices on which the value should be
created.

Option Description
Value name Specifies the name of the value being modified. This is a read-only property. If you want to
rename the value, you can do so from the Registry Information panel.
Value data The text that should be stored in the registry value.

Note: When you are working with string registry values, note the following:
• To use a percent sign in an entry, type two percent signs (%%)—for example, SomeApp.exe
%%1 instead of SomeApp.exe %1.
• To use a comma (,) in an entry, enclose the entry within quotation marks ("")—for example,
"1,2,3" instead of 1,2,3.
• To use quotation marks in an entry, enclose the entry within quotation marks—for example,
""This is quoted."" instead of "This is quoted."
• To create an entry that specifies where the application was installed on the Windows Mobile
device, include %InstallDir%. To create an entry that specifies a file in the installation
directory, include %InstallDir% with the file name—for example, type %InstallDir%\File.exe.
The default installation directory is specified on the Destination Folder panel.
If a registry value by the same name already exists on the device, it is overwritten only if this
option is selected. If this check box is cleared, the existing value is not changed.
Platform A list of the platform types (Palm-size PC, Handheld PC, Pocket PC, Smartphone, etc.) on which
the registry value can be created.

Processor The type of processor on which the registry value can be created.

Error Mapping Properties Dialog Box
The Error Mapping Properties dialog box displays an IIS virtual directory error code and its default
properties. Use the Message Type list to set the message to a URL or a pointer to a file on the server.
When you set the error message to a URL, you must specify the full URL. When you set the error
