Most of these are self-explanatory with the exception of Lasso. The Lasso select tool
allows you to draw a freeform polygon shape. The drawing follows the movement of your
mouse pointer as long as you hold the left mouse button down. Releasing the mouse
button completes the shape.
The Tools group contains tools for modifying features. You will use them when you need
to perform tasks such as splitting a parcel which has been subdivided into more than one
parcel. There are also tools for splitting a line, editing vertices, moving a feature, and
merging features.
The last group is Elevation. This contains tools for editing 3D features.
