Components of a task<br />

Each task you create in <strong>ArcGIS</strong> <strong>Pro</strong> will consist of several components. The first is the<br />

Task Item, which is stored in the project. It is basically a folder to store related tasks<br />

within your project. You will access Task Items from the <strong>Pro</strong>ject pane, as shown in the<br />

following image:<br />

The second component is the Task Group. The Task Group is a subfolder within the Task<br />

Item in order to group related tasks by function or purpose. You can create Task Groups<br />

inside of other Task Groups just as you can create folders inside other folders in Windows.<br />

This allows you to create an organization structure to store your tasks, so they are easier to<br />

find and manage.
