LET’S TALK ABOUT ENTREPRENEURSHIP WHO WE ARE? Ella Es cosmetics is a line of beauty products that caters to the diverse shade ranges and undertone of Woman of Color in Latin America and the Caribbean. We believe that make up should enhance our natural beauty, not hide our flaws. Ella Es is intelligence, strength, courage, beauty, sexy, daring… It’s whatever women and girls choose to be. WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO? Ella Es cosmetics was born out of the unaddressed cosmetic needs and desires of Afro-Latinas. For far too long throughout Latin America women of color have been underrepresented and/or ignored by the beauty community. There is a void in the range of shades for our varied and diverse skin tones, which ultimately have left women no choice but to wear shades too light for their complexions. Ella Es cosmetics exists to fulfill this void. Our foundation contains skin protective properties and is long-wearing in tropical climate. You will not sweat it off! EEC is a platform where Black beauty can be celebrated. As we cultivate our identities as Afro-Latinas in our countries of origin and abroad, we’re learning more about our history, our uniqueness, our talents and our general fabulousness. Shouldn’t we have cosmetics that reflect it as well? EEC is just one platform to encourage women of color to expand their horizons. We are a family-ran, woman-ran business. We envision a beauty industry that educates and builds relationships with others who celebrate the beauty and accomplishments of women of color and promotes entrepreneurship for women and girls. WHERE WE DO IT? Our launch will take place in Panama and sub ly throughout the region. As an Afro-Descen Panamanian, I have witnessed firsthand th tent and frustration of Panamanian wome surrounding beauty and access to product dress our specific needs.
